Fired up the stroker today, questions on injectors.

The map vs rpm table is usually split up it to like 16 segments or "cells". You need to operate the vehicle in each cell for a couple minutes to establish their long term fuel trim (once the 02 sensors and all have warmed up and gone into closed loop mode). If you have a fluke 83-87 multimeter...

I slacked off this year in finding good seeds. This is just one from last years pumpkin, so I'm not expecting a whole lot honestly. The best place to find them is probably on utah giant pumpkin growers website/facebook. There's also a huge wealth of knowledge.

Fired up the stroker today, questions on injectors.

I don't know why people seem to think so, but changing the injector size won't really do anything, there's a lot more to it than that.. Fuel injected engines have an o2 sensor which is used for closed loop feedback of the air fuel ratio. This feedback generates a fuel trim in the computer which...

    Lets talk charcoal grills...

That's interesting, I've never even head of this before. So it's basically like slow cooking a roast in a crock pot? It doesn't turn your steak into gelatinous fall of the bones ribs does it? Cuz I don't know about that lol On a side note, I had a ribeye n baked potato today at a friends...

I have GOT to finish this Miata project

I've put a fair amount of thought into how to stay motivated since I feel like I'm never finishing my projects. I think the most important thing is to have a clear, detailed plan of the steps required to reach your end goal; not just the end goal. Set a goal that is independent of your interest...

Jeep 2nd Year Driving a Manual

Lightly engaging the clutch to transfer power (where there is a difference in rpm from flywheel to input shaft; the link is 'slipping'). You obviously need to slip it a bit to start, but really it doesn't need much, and literally no slipping at all if you shift at the right rpm. I've noticed...

Jeep 2nd Year Driving a Manual

How to make a clutch last: Never(!) slip the clutch. Sync the engine rpm and the trans as quickly as possible. If you find yourself slipping the clutch half a second each gear change, you're doing it too much. There are some times you have to, but 99% of the time you drive, don't.

Local Sonic Fuel Injector Cleaning Shop?

sonic? ultrasonic just cleans the crap off the case... the important part of the cleaning procedure is cycling a ton of cleaner through them while pulsing until they spray clean. I've used Certified Injection with good results.

    Auto VS Manual Trans

You don't need a foot for each pedal... you need a heel or toe for each pedal. Now that that's all cleared up we can all agree which is better :D

Detents in the rooster comb mechanism in the valve body. I've had one loosen up causing similar issues (GM 4L60E)
