    Who else works every weekend?

I feel bad. I work 'typical' office hours. Well, ok. I work 7-330 (or 4) M-F. Those who work those long hours with little time off - make sure you take care of your mental health. I see a fair amount of burnout around this corporate America workplace.

    My new ride

Nice Ride! That's the best body style for the Durango. I don't care for the newer models. I have a 2000 Dakota 4 door which shares a lot of parts.

    BlackSheep II

Before and after: Of course it's actually not done yet. Since the last post, I got it down to the shop and they fixed the pinion seal no problem. While it was there I had them order me a Warn Zeon 8S winch. It's in the garage waiting for the battery terminal adaptors that I need to order...

BIG DAY today!! Had to finish up the relocation of the diff locker compressors - they are now up under the hood instead of down attached to the skid plate. With the after market belly-up skid it was a necessity. I drove BlackSheep II around the block, pulled her back into the driveway...

if you're talking about the use of the phrase 'implements of destruction', I'm sure I was channeling Arlo when I wrote it. I like to sing along when it comes around on the playlist...

    LJ stretch

did you have that rear corner armor custom made? Seems like a piece made for the LJ wouldn't be long enough. It's looking great!

Just easier to get at stuff. Although I'm going to pick up some speed bleeders today which will make it quite a bit easier. So maybe it doesn't need to go back up on the jackstands.

Lots of work on BlackSheep this week. Amazing what you can get accomplished when work isn't getting in the way :D. As of my last post I'd been getting the axles positioned under the Jeep. Of course that still left plenty to do and this week I've knocked out a bunch of it. Before I could...

Bought a home, seller didn't disclose

I feel you man. The house I'm currently in has some water issues in the basement. There is NO WAY the previous owner didn't find out about it during their 8 years living here. It really didn't come up as a major issue for me until this year (three years after I moved in) when we've had record...

Jeep Jeep Wrangler based truck (JT Gladiator)

I'll likely never own one of those. Partly because I don't care for the 4 doors, not a fan of the wrangler front end (should have done a retro J-truck grill) but mostly because they're likely stupid expensive. Despite all that, they are pretty cool and I can't wait to see one up close.

    Hello from the Appalachins!

Ha! A good friend of mine who also works for Michelin has a house in Nebo. I think his daughter is currently living in it while he is on an Ex-Pat assignment. I'm watching some of the local FB pages (and intermittently local forums) but I'm not seeing the same sort of wheeling out here as...

    Hello from the Appalachins!

Welcome! Where in Western NC? I'm in Greenville, SC now. I'm jealous of the number of upcoming trips you've got scheduled! I'm hoping to get out west in the August / Sept time frame.

Trip Report Moab Metal Masher in March

I'm with Bart - totally blown away you haven't run it! In my short time living out there I probably ran it at least a half dozen times! There is a lot of fun to be had on those intermediate trails!

    BlackSheep II

More progress this weekend. At the back end I got the track bar bracket all bolted in, the sway bar is connected, the axle side of the track bar is bolted in, the gas tank is strapped down in the skid, bump stops are in place and I've ordered new flexible brake lines to replace the old lines...
