    Ghetto's 3rd Gen 4Runner

I am starting another thread for the new one. I figured it would be a little simpler to follow. It is the 2nd chance 4runner. I'll try to keep it up to date. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N915A using Tapatalk

    2nd Chance 4runner

So I think a few people may remember my 4runner that I was building. I was building my own frame and really starting from scratch. I wanted it to be something I could do a lot of different things. I want it to be my daily driver, as well as be able to do some serious offroad trails. I really...

No problem. We'll get them next time. We ended up doing the trail backwards and forwards again. After that we wanted to get home before it got too late. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N915A using Tapatalk

    Ghetto's 3rd Gen 4Runner

So after a year of working on trents buggy I finally got my 4runner back in the garage...except it's a different one. After thinking about it alot I decided to run a stock frame. I really liked the idea of building one, but it bumps me up a class if I compete. Also the other 4runner didn't have...

    Trent's non samurai samurai buggy

So I keep saying that I am going to update this thread step by step but it hasn't happened yet. So until I do here is a couple teaser pics. We took it out the past couple weekends for some shakedown runs. So far it has done really well. Our biggest grief with the build has been the motor. We...

I am going to just go through everything quick. I was going to be a little more detailed, but it is pretty far along and I want to get caught up.

The rear mount got dimple dyed but I don't have any good pics on my phone. Once the shock hoops were done I made a hood out of aluminum.

Trent going a complete harness from jims performance. It upgrades to a late model style computer. I called him a couple times, and he was great on the phone. I think he does some other wiring harnesses too. It made the wiring much easier, and we even have the connector for the obd scan tool now.

There wasn't a lot of room driver's side for the exhaust side so I made my own. It goes around the front of the motor and ties in on the passenger side. It makes the pedal mounts way easier for the driver. ]
