    NEED projection HELP

Just talked to him and he said the fuel pump is the Holley pump and it is mounted totally below the tank. Is the Holley pump crap? Any recommendations on alternative pumps he should use if he ditches the Holley? He said he reset the EFI last night and made a few adjustments and it's...

    NEED projection HELP

I'm not sure. If you're familiar with cruisers, the stock gas tank is under the passenger seat. One this particular truck, he stock tank is gone and there is a Conferr aux fuel tank mounted under the rear of the truck (similar location as wranglers) that is used as the primary fuel tank. I'm...

    NEED projection HELP

The description he gave me was that it seems like it's starved for fuel. I haven't been able to drive it or or experience it firsthand so I'm not sure exactly what that means. He had a lot of crap in the fuel filter and changed that and was supposed to swap fuel pumps last night, and also...

    NEED projection HELP

I went with him to SF to get it and we trailered it back. It ran fine in SF and it's been here in Utah for about a month and has been running fine until a couple weeks ago. I also suspect a bad fuel pump but haven't heard of any changes since swapping that out

    NEED projection HELP

Thanks you guys. I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure it's the older open loop/cab adjustable type. I know there's a box of tuning knobs for it inside the glove box. I have basically NO experience with Holley projection or any fuel injection for that matter. I've always had carbs in my...

    NEED projection HELP

Does anyone know of someone in Utah county that is well versed in Holley Projection? I've got a buddy with an FJ40 with a 350 with Holley Projection. He just bought the truck a few weeks ago from a guy in S.F. and he needs to tune the projection for the altitude here and could use some help...

What's everybody's rigs look like nowadays????

The e-lockers are cool but it way expensive to retro-fit them into a truck that didn't come with them. It's much more cost effective to go with ARB's if you want a selectable locker. Besides the carrier in an ARB is stronger than the factory one. Not that it matters a whole lot because the...

What's everybody's rigs look like nowadays????

Oh, I think I've also decided against the supercharger and using it as a tow rig. For the money, I can probably buy some older Fullsize truck with a bigass motor that will pull the other truck and trailer a little better.

What's everybody's rigs look like nowadays????

Nope. No factory lockers. When we decided to buy it, it was in awesome shape and a screamin' deal so I settled for the fact it didn't have lockers knowing that I could add them later. It's been a cool truck.

    Wasatch Cruisers web page

Thought I'd share our new club web page with all of you. Wasatch Cruisers has been around for about 4 years now and we just got our new site up and running. Feel free to check it out and let us know what you think. There's a good number of photos in the gallery, a fully functional forum, and...

What's everybody's rigs look like nowadays????

Haven't been around for a while but thought I'd check back. Here's a few fairly recent ones of my trucks. This one will be getting a new set of 37" MTRs soon This one should be getting 4.88's, ARB's and a TRD supercharger before next spring. It is going to be a moderate wheeler and...

    Cruise Moab 2002

Got back late Sunday from a killer trip to Moab with the TLCA. I got there a day late but had a sleepy warmup as trail leader on Fins and Things on Friday, then we had a good group of Wasatch Cruisers guys and a couple others on Moab Rim Saturday. Saturday night the fun really started...

    Couple new moab pics

Metal Masher is a cool trail. I think Rock Chucker and Widow Maker are both a different story when you've got wheelbase. The short wheelbases seem to have more trouble on both, especially Widowmaker. Last time I saw widowmaker it was looking very eroded at the base, the ledge just gets bigger...

    transmission debate

Since I drive a FJ40 I'll chime in and give my opinion. But before I do that I'll preface it with what's been said already, find something that meets your needs, no what someone else says is cool. My 40 is a '76 and had a 4speed from the factory which is understandable a bit different from...

could anyone build a xover steering kit for a toyota?

That's how my plates came from the DMV. I did sell the truck, but I thought the information applied anyway. The guy that bought it from me, is probably selling it and I think I'm gonna buy it back.

could anyone build a xover steering kit for a toyota?

I'm getting in way late on this and hopefully no one will mind but I thought I'd drop my $.02 into the bucket on this. My truck was an '85 so I didn't have to worry about the SAS end of things but I have to say that it was worth EVERY penny to get the hysteer ket that I got from Marlin...

    blue residue on tires

Our club (wasatch cruisers) went out to 5 mile pass and down to Little Moab last Saturday and it was a bit muddy. I finally washed my truck last night and this morning there is a weird blue residue on my tires. I've seen it before when I've had a lot of mud on the tires and it's sat for a day...

    A new DD???

My brother in law has an 87 4Runner that's for sale. It's a pretty clean truck, but has minimal rust at the rear fender edges. It's totally stock and would be a great daily driver. It runs really well and has a softtop to go with it. I know he wanted like $4000 for it but he left on his...
