    Epic food porn

I got bored yesterday and decided to try my hand homemade smoked wings. Did them on the Camp Chef @350 for about 20ish minutes and then up to 400 for another few minutes. Used a pre-made sweet heat rub and made a chipotle strawberry sauce. Marinated them for an hour so.These were probably my...

    Your Pic of The Day

He stopped moving long enough enough for me to snap a pic. Rare occasion for him.

General Tech What did you work on Today?

This one. So far so good. I liked it because of the push locks and the metal misters (vs. plastic).

General Tech What did you work on Today?

Command strips! We have used them all over the house with very little failure. I had framed picture fall but it was fairly heavy and big. Only the real small hook type have pulled the paint off and we don’t use them anymore. The bigger Velcro type ones have been great with zero paint issues.

General Tech What did you work on Today?

I added a few enhancements to the back patio. We spend a ton of time sitting out there in the evenings/weekend. We have dinner out there just about every night. So, some other lights and a misting system seemed like a good idea. No real pics of the process though. Pretty simple install, hardest...

    Spotted

That persons kid must have played t-ball in the same league as my son last summer. I saw it almost weekly last summer.

I think it's time I join this thread... I bought a used Traeger probably 5 years ago. I used it a ton that summer and then we decided to build a house. We moved in with my father in law while we built our house. He already has a Traeger so I stored my Traeger at my parents house until our...

General Tech Looking for a couple 2.5 coilover springs

@Hickey I went back and checked my texts with Matt Bell from Desert Speed Shock Tuning (who tuned my shocks) and those springs are 150 spring rate.

General Tech Looking for a couple 2.5 coilover springs

I have these two springs that have been sitting under my workbench for a few years now. They match the ID and spring height. However, I have no clue what rate they are. They were powder coated to match my Kings a few year back. They are yours if you want to give them a shot.

    Ford 2021 Ford Bronco

According to the website it says both the 2 door and 4 door models rear seats fold flat. I have been thinking of selling my 4 seat buggy for a while. Selling it and my tow rig, paying cash for a Bronco and pocketing some cash sounds pretty tempting.

Dad’s- how did you find time to build your rig and not destroy your marriage?

Communication! When my latest project started I had many conversations with my wife and set the expectation that there will be a few nights during the week (after everyone went to bed) and possibly some Saturdays/Sundays that will be spent in the garage or at my buddy's shop. Two years later it...

    Any Mtn Bikers on RME?

I went and ventured out to Corner Canyon this morning with a friend. We wanted to try some new rides since we typically hit the same places in Davis/Weber county. You people at the south end of the valley and northern Utah county are definitely spoiled! We rode from the bike park/Rodeo Arena to...

Getting healthier in 2020. Who's in?

I saw this thread earlier this year and just kept scrolling... Flash forward 6 months, I am currently down to 209 from 226 in early March when Covid struck. At that time my pay was cut 75% and still is. We went on a strict budget of only eating out once a week (that's down from once a day for...

    Any Mtn Bikers on RME?

This sounds like a solid option... However, Covid has me living on the cheap side. Maybe when the world comes back and I can spend like my wife on a target run (pre-covid). I just downloaded it and when setting it up I just hit "skip" where it tried to get me to pay. Does that mean I am just on...

    Any Mtn Bikers on RME?

What apps do most of you guys use to track rides? I know Strava is probably the front runner here but I am just wondering what the other options are. I don't really care about being king of the hill. Or, even knowing that some guy did my hour and a half ride in 19 minutes (true story of today's...

    Coronavirus

I have been working from home for 9 years this fall and in an office 11 or so years prior to that. I have said from day 1 of working from home that I can get more done in a half day than a full day in the office. Too many distractions in an office to get really productive. I am a very self...

    Welding Around Fuel Cell

While doing some Spring maintenance on my buggy (since I have sooooo much time on my hands currently) I noticed my fuel cell mount was bent on the back side. After pulling my mount off and fixing the back side I went to reinstall it. While putting everything back together I noticed a part of the...

At what point do you "give-up" on a vehicle?

My thoughts; It is 100% about money/time and how you choose to spend it. Just like anything in life, how do you prioritize how your money/time is spent. I am not trying to put myself on a pedestal here but to me my time is typically more valuable than money (not so much on a bad commission...
