I did look at that, but now I have cable shifters so it wouldn't be an issue anyway.

I'm not convinced the problem is with the detent spring, as I played with it once with no improvement. I'm still thinking a bent shift fork, but would like some confirmation before I tear the case apart.

Any suggestions on a real fix, although a bungee is easy, I'd like to not need one.
