I have been racing (Drag) at RMR for as long as it has been RMR and even before. 2018 will be RMR's last year and there are no plans as of now for the Young automotive group to build a new track. Because of this I sold my car mid season last year and retired from racing.

For my 2 cents, Black Rock is fine. This time of year I just want to get out of the valley and this smog. The trail difficulty is less important to me than just getting out into some fresh air for a few hours.

Put me down for it, my son may come along also.

Ideal is having the pinion about 2 degrees down from the driveshaft. This will allow for some axle wrap under power which will put the pinion in-line with the driveshaft. You never want the pinion higher than the drive shaft.

When we did the Rubicon a few years ago I had a 3 in lift with 37's and the jeep did very well. There were a few challenges but well worth it. Imogene would be great, I did that road/trail about 30 years ago and would love to go back.
