I vote a 2wd single cab mini truck like a ranger. I had a very mild 94 ranger prerunner for years. Just some used 2.0 shocks, diy cut and turned beams, fiberglass and pulled bedsides. It was an absolute blast to rally and even with 32x11.50 tires I averaged 25 mpg

SSS is a good place to get remnant steel As well as new metal. remnant is sold by the pound based on market price and inventory it seems. Also Wasatch steel and metal mart are some other good places to buy.

Moda and coverking are the same. When you buy the moda from Walmart you order them from the coverking website. Coverking direct just offers way more color and material types but the $99 Walmart moda ones are a really good bang for the buck IMO for a seat cover.

I personally like the low “brow”bar also because of the rolled roof. Every cage I've built I run two one where you are for the roof line and one at the top of the bend to tie my roof bracing into. Looking really good. Thanks for sharing the build.
