    Lengthening driveshafts

What have you guys done? Ever done it yourself? I'm a very cheap person so I'm thinking of sleeving a section of tube inside the driveshaft and having it welded. What do you guys think? Am I crazy?

    Leaf spring question

I've put a set of wagoneer fronts in the front of my wrangler to stretch it a skosh but they're not very soft. They only settled about 2" when I put it on the ground. What are some of the things you guys have done to soften them up? I'm thinking of romoving the 2nd and third leafs...

Adding acetone to your gas can help increase mileage.

Nope, it's a multi point fuel injected 3.4 litre V6 from a 95 firebird in my 84 Cherokee turning 33's on 4:11 gears.

Adding acetone to your gas can help increase mileage.

Well, it may not have worked for you but I just finished my first tank and it's definitely helped me. I usually have to fill up at about 170 miles on a tank. I haven't ever gotten more than 200 miles a tank on this engine and I'm at 220 right now and about to run out.

    straight 6 from v 6 swap

yep, even the easily done V6 swaps in that jeep aren't as powerfull as the 4.0. That's a very difficult swap to do though, in my oppinion not worth the jeep.

    moles destroying my yard!!!

There are these windmill things that my sister has in her yard that create some kind of vibration or noise or something that they don't like so they move out and stay away. They're just this aluminum windmill that sticks up out of the ground and they work pretty good.

    key won't turn!!!!!!

Mine did the same thing only I couldn't turn the jeep off. It's not real hard. You need a steering wheel puller and you need to be carefull with the blinker switch stuff. It's just plastic and can break easily. You pull the wheel and get all the blinker stuff out of the way and there's a...

Well, considering I was getting between 7 and 8 from the 2.8 (don't ask me how) and after the swap I was getting around 12-13 it's a pretty good improvement. I think it's changed and I can tell you in a week what it gets, I haven't been keeping track but I made note of the miles last fillup and...

    2.8 or 3.4

Stock the 3.4 puts out 2.5 ft/lbs of torque and 160 hp. I'm hoping I've got 180 with a complete exhaust and intake. I think everything all together I'm about $1200 or so for the swap, that's $500 for the motor, $400 for the wiring to be modified and various other things like a computer...
