If you have a Dana 35 rear axle and want to run bigger tires the LS may make it explode. Also the fuel pump might be ok but check fuel line size so that you can keep up with the demand.

Yes they can alter the ECM programming to do what you need. My Jeep is a vintage unit and that makes it easier. I changed the transfer case from a Dana 300 to an Atlas.

On my LS swap I used a B&M shifter. I was able to use my rear driveline as it was but had to shorten the front shaft a little bit.

If you want some very stout control arms my son has some 2" DOM with 5/16 or 3/8 wall. Would have to drill the ends to accept the standard weld in inserts.

When I do it I drill some holes in the tube at 180 degrees from each other then carefully cut through the drill holes. Saves on saw blades.

On the 77 schematic that I have the orange wire is labeled as Ignition 3. It goes through the firewall connector and out to a connector that appears to be for the oil pressure sensor.

I have a set of 77 Chev truck factory repair manuals. I can see what they have in the way of schematics. By the way jeeps of the same era use GM steering columns and share the same wiring and connectors.
