Interesting that it runs cooler. That means the thermostat was wide open and the coolant temp was governed entirely by the cooling ability of the radiator and heat output of the motor. Open-loop as the engineers would say.

honestly, if you're just looking to cook a couple pizza's once in a while the shape won't make a noticeable difference. The book recommends a lighter weight structure for pizza since you tend to keep a live fire. For baking lots of bread, you want more mass for retained heat.

We tend to move so much. I have considered building a small one on a trailer though.

so my bug-a-salt shoots really low, how about yours ? Also, I got it 5 days ago and in the first two days nailed 40-50 flies each day and now I have a target poor environment. I find it hard to believe I made a dent so I'll write that off to weather/moon phases/better dog turds elsewhere.
