Maybe weld in a middle support and do it with 10 footers ? The longer that stuff gets, the more expensive it is per foot.

It can look pretty chunky, but to my untrained eye it looks like the mass of the parts made the zinc cool really rapidly and not flow out much. Can any of it be flaked off ?

Well that was short lived.... The display on my Yaesu FT-2980R that I bought in March went blank. If I push the top-left corner it comes back, but damn. I'm not sure I can find the receipt. Radio still works fine, I just need two hands to operate.

I make it a point to ride with people better than me. It's not like I have a choice :)
