    General Tech Detroit Diesel Swap?

Dana Collins of Idaho Falls has an M37 with a Detroit 3-53 turboed in it. Loudest dam thing ever if you're behind him on the street or trail. The noise will be a real turn off very quickly, even in the driver's seat.

4 Seat Toyota Buggy. KSL ad. Is this someone's on the board?????

Luke said that he would be in Moab Easter weekend, so we can give him another ride in his buggy. Will you be in Moab at the same time? Chad and Jeannette are arriving for the car show. Don't know anyone else's plans for now.

4 Seat Toyota Buggy. KSL ad. Is this someone's on the board?????

Update on the 4-seat Toy buggy. Bec and I brought it home on Saturday. The young boys are really excited about riding along at EJS. We just left it on the trailer since we head out this Friday. The Toy buggy will be behind the '03 Dodge dually and the Sami buggy will be behind the '99...

'End of Track' documentary of transcontinental railroad across Wyoming

I don't know if the documentary is available after the live streaming event. Hopefully it will be embedded in the Wyo PBS site for later enjoyment. I'm no computer whiz (prehistoric term for geek), so we will see how it gets set up.

4 Seat Toyota Buggy. KSL ad. Is this someone's on the board?????

I think we spotted you yesterday on Center St. in North Salt Lake - were you towing your Scout East on Center St. at 3:00 PM? I am trying to decide if the Scout stays or goes right now. The closed cab with kick-ass heater is hard to give up. It's been the official warm up vehicle on many...

4 Seat Toyota Buggy. KSL ad. Is this someone's on the board?????

I finally got together with Luke last night and crawled around the buggy. The rear seat will hold the 2 small boys just fine, and the rig is in good condition. We're pulling the trigger on this one :p as soon as the bonus money shows up. Thanks James for posting the info and thanks Luke for...

4 Seat Toyota Buggy. KSL ad. Is this someone's on the board?????

Wow, what a deal for a top buggy. Luke let me drive it through the Bellybutton on Hell's Revenge a couple years ago. I think the first set of pictures are from that day, my Scout is hiding behind a bush in one of the pictures. It was effortless popping out of the Bellybutton, and I had never...

    my samurai update

Another thing about doubled transmissions, if you put both transmissions in reverse, you get really low gearing overall in forward.

    my samurai update

That Sami works so well. I really like the one-link rear, so that's on my bucket list for a future project. The twin transmissions, plus the transfer case gears yields a bunch of gear ratios to play with. Keep upgrading Little Mike's Sami and surprise us with more innovations.

    moab help???

I'm in Rigby, Idaho right now. I'm sure that Dana Collins at Army Surplus Warehouse in Idaho Falls would have what you need. I'll be headed back to Evanston Saturday and could drop parts off along the way if someone is going to Moab. My cell is 307-679-5195.

Fastest tractor I've seen in a while...

That's what happens when you fill the tractor's gas tank with the juice that runs out of the bottom of the corn silo, then the farmer drinks the rest.

    Can we talk dogs?

Get a beagle, that will solve all future requests for a dog (grin).

Any boat guru's on here? Looking to buy advice/suggestions needed

Now I know what you are going to do with that old Beaver winch. The Bear is too low to float, so winching along will have to do. Congrats, I'll drop by to check it out this week.

    no more shipping things

My best shippers have been friends headed in the direction of the desired destination. I sent a set of Jeep lift springs from Wyoming to North Dakota via a friend with instructions to pitch them into the weeds at a certain off ramp - perfect delivery, fast and cheap!

Any boat guru's on here? Looking to buy advice/suggestions needed

Hey Mike, joining the dark side now (ha ha)? The best (and only) boat I bought was a new 17 ft. Coleman canoe in partnership with a good friend back in 1980. He bought out my half about 15 years ago and still has it. That canoe made lots of fishing and pleasure trips and cost very little. We...

    hanging tree trail

Your Dad also used to run HTT with an uber light full size Wagoneer buggy with lots of skinny pedal - there's a good reason that the last waterfall on HTT is named Gordy's Launch (grin). Is he still punishing those old 34X9.50 Swampers that work so well?
