the MAN sized crawler hauler build thread

Found 'em Ramps are 6' X 22". Outside frame made from 2" X 1" X 0.125" square tube. Rungs made from 1" X 1" X ? square tube on 8" centers. Tops have bent clips to hold onto trailer, etc. Pretty heavy duty, might hold up to the Scout's weight.

the MAN sized crawler hauler build thread

Ramps Have I got a deal for you Cheston - I think there's a pair of heavy duty ramps that came with the property. I'll run out and check to see if I'm dreaming or they actually exist, and measure them if they are there. Free - if I have them.

    Trailer Tongue Weight Scale

Tongue weight Not actually giving you an exact tonque weight, but a useful bit of info. I measure the height of a place on the rear of my truck before loading a vehicle onto my tongue-pull trailer, then drive the vehicle onto and forward on the trailer so that it lowers the rear of my truck...

    21 Road Eats Jeeps!

Devon's electrical problem Devon said that his tilt steering wheel has a flexible contact arm that broke, causing a total loss of electrical power. He got a junk yard replacement and is working OK now. I jokingly told him a while ago that he has the distinct honor of breaking down on every...

    21 Road Eats Jeeps!

Avatar Last year's cannon shoot at the Fort Bridger Rendezvous. That cannon took off when it fired - just happened to get the picture. I'll probably change the avatar again soon. That 21 Trail sure looks like fun, in a morbid sort of way. Devon and Marlene said that Marion was riding with...

    peach days car show

Scroungy old trucks I had my first '49 Power Wagon in Moab at EJS about 20 years ago. It had no paint and a lot of rock rash. I pulled up and parked on the street by a hotel parking lot, which just happened to have some of the first civilian H1s parked in it. The big crowd that was...
