Check out YouTube on how to convert a wood bandsaw for metal cutting. One guy uses a motor and dimmer like switch from a treadmill. I picked up my horizontal/vertical from an RME-er and made a bigger plate to cut like a bandsaw.

Take him to the r/c races, that will turn that broken truck into cool again. I think the new track is somewhere on 2100so.

Show him how to fix but make him do it. He wont crash it for awhile.

I'd recommend a hike to the top of white rock. Steep but very cool and view is awesome. Going around the backside and hiking up the middle (ravine) is the best way.

I cut my exhaust pipe a few inches back to avoid bashing it off-road but when I installed the shackle boxes , it cooked the bushing on the leafspring. I'll be fixing that exhaust tip as well. Does anyone know what size the hole is to replace the bushing ? I have a box of polyurethane bushings...
