We have planted Apple, Pear & Peach dwarf tree's but we keep getting Peach boars in all the Peach trees that we have planted & they end up dieing. Its a real bummer because I like peaches.

You could possibly burn up the electro-magnet if its hot wired all of the time & run down your battery. I would check if there is continuity from the clutch to one of the wires to the plug at the switch to rule out a break in the wire. The switch could be bad & only will light up when pressed...

I used PB Blaster days before (like Kevin B mentioned) but no luck so heated them up with a propane torch & got all to break loose. Lots of Youtube videos of people doing it that way and it working great. I usually have great luck with PB Blaster but not by itself on my dad's 71 F250.
