Strange PSD trans issue
On the way home today my trans suddenly started to get hot. Never goes over 185 even towing and it was 180 in the city, and climbed to 210 before I could stop. Strange part is the cooler was COOL to the touch as were the lines. I thought maybe it is just low on fuild (no leaks that I can see)...- Milner

Atlas T-case swap leads to catastrophic failure

Lasik recommendations
Dr. Moshirfar at the Moran Eye center did mine. I could not be happier!! He is the one the teaches the other guys....Everything that was an upgrade charge with the the other places was standard of care at Moran! He actually recommended standard over custom for me. Custom means they scan your eye... -

Why did the Atlas blow?
The gears spin the oil around to lube it. With the rear shaft out and the case in neutral or rear wheel drive, there was nothing spinning the gears, thus no lube. In rear wheel drive (and neutral)the front output is disconnected from the main drive gears and it sits above the oil level. So his...- Milner
