well that sucks, i'm the original purchaser but i purchased it off amazon last yr cause they were having a great sale on it. but i contacted them and they told me to call the manufacturer direct.

i'd rather them get rid of emissions, or only do it once when you buy the vehicle. i can deal with inspections.

i have an XRC8 winch that isn't even a yr old and i need it warrantied. i've tried contacting smittybilt direct but no response in 3 weeks. so i'm wondering if any vendor or anyone that knows anyone that could help me out. the winch no longer stays engaged, as soon as you put tension on the line...

i say leave it, i haven't seen much difference in strength between a fully welded truss and a stitch welded truss.

i had one in my XJ and loved it, i'm going to be building one for the ZJ now but i'm going a little taller than yours so that i can fit a couple action packers and a fridge. thinking of using round tube this time too. the bottom of the one i built for my XJ was even with the top of the back...

ever since i seen harold off's rig in 93 i loved it. when i met harold it was pre bobbed and pre black diamond coils. i sat in the parking lot of the senior/civic center during an EJS one yr and talked to him forever about that jeep. RIP harold there was another scrambler around '98-2000...

The lug pattern is actually 5 on 5 and they are most likely 17x8 wheels.

makes sense, the YJ's are backwards. i just did something like this after i clocked mine up and it works normal and was simple :)
