you got loose bolts? i know it sounds stupid but mine was doing the same thing once and i pulled the inspection cover and stuck a wrench on the bolts and found even though i couldn't move the plate or bolts by hand the bolts moved quite a bit with a wrench. they were pretty loose.

maybe its like the eddie mcstiffs owners then, one silent i dunno. i met john once with mike but never did meet or hear of dave. oh well who knows anything is possible, still gonna make a phone call :D

unless it has changed owners in the last yr or so(which it could have) the owners name was mike johnson, he was a great guy and VERY for the off-road community. i even took him out a couple times in my jeep up the trails around moab so to me something seems really fishy. i'm gonna make a phone...

i do since i seem to have my phone with me more often than my camera, plus my phone is 8mp and my camera is 5mp :) just haven't messed with any HDR on it yet. still messing with camera apps to find one i like.

even if you don't feel comfortable with forest lake there are many other easier rds up there to explore.

just pay attention through the first section and you'll be fine.

i was up there saturday doing some geocaching and the trail hasn't changed much. i took the stock ZJ up it without any problems.

wow i've owned a few chiefs and waggy's i always thought the chiefs only came in a 2 door wide track, or a 2 door narrow track and the regular cherokee's and waggy's were the 4 door. i may stand corrected!

the chief's were only two door.

have someone sit in it and work the wheel back and forth while you look for ANYTHING loose in the steering, trac bar, and control arms. check unit bearings and ball joints also, all can cause death wobble. sometimes even a worn out steering stabilizer has been known to do it also.

thats why i swerve all over when i'm towing anything through there, i make my own lil bubble. since it seems like no one in utah county knows how to drive, i scare them away from me. plus its kinda fun too :D
