Just throwing it out there, but for simple, cheap, secure storage, it is hard to beat an old semi-trailer. Might be a bit harder to move around, but the space is immense. I have an old double-drop moving van that I use for storage. Even in a storage place, much cheaper than an actual storage...

Welcome to the club! Mine gets a similar squeak occasionally. On mine it is fixed by a little silicone lube on the sway bar bushing. 05 timing belt change interval is 100k, from what I understand. I use Shell Rotella t6 5w40 synthetic at 10k change intervals.

Yup. My unimog and freightliner are the same way - lift pump to move the fuel from tank to engine and injection pump just for high pressure.
