    looking for handgun recommendations

A full-size 9mm might be the easiest handling gun that is capable of serious self-defense, IMO. This kind of gun will easily hold 18-20 rounds of ammo, which is an added benefit. You really need to shoot a few to decide what you like - either renting from a gun range or going out with friends...

Assuming a 7-way plug, just get a test light or meter and check for voltage on the top right blade of the plug on your truck with the key on:

    Volkswagen TDI talk

Ah. The only time I've had any start problem was if the glow plugs weren't working correctly or the engine wasn't cranking fast enough. Lots of root causes for each of these.

Are you sure about this? I didn't know there was a cold-engine temp when the glow plugs don't turn on...

t mobile (tmobile) coverage in Utah?

Same experience as Nate. In the city, the coverage and speed is good. As you get outside of the city, T-mobile coverage < AT&T coverage < Verizon coverage.

Any land lords ever had the pleasure of evicting tenants?

I don't have any personal experience, but I think evictions with storage are definitely easier to handle, but the volume is also pretty high for the amount of rent you are charging. Even small storage unit yards have one or two sales per year of units full of seized goods.

Any land lords ever had the pleasure of evicting tenants?

I've had good and bad experience. One set of tenants was great - they left the place better than they found it. Every time they wanted to improve, I would pay for the materials and they would do the labor. Our next tenants had pretty good references, but their marriage fell apart, they went...

    Experience with ford 6.2??

That V-10 is a puller for sure. I had one in a motorhome also. Not so great on mileage, though.

    Vintage plates???

It is detailed ad-nauseum in another thread, but at some point (25 or 40 years old), you are able to do your own safety inspection also. This is where I'm headed once I have the mog's front axle back together.

If you don't want to DIY, I think the dealer offers an exchange setup to sell you a clean one - you give them a plugged core.

    A/C shops

It is pretty common for the clutch to never engage if there isn't enough pressure (freon) in the system. There is typically a low-pressure switch that will make it never turn on if there isn't enough refrigerant.

    Chainsaws...which one

BTW, my bro-in-law is a professional chainsaw carver. At the competitions, all I see are Stihl logos - pretty much without exception.

Hope I'm not hijacking this thread, but what do you guys do about chain sharpening? DIY, Have a shop do it, or just buy a new chain?

Yup. A new 4 seater General and a 1000 Ranger XP were unveiled at the dealer show in Nashville last night. I didn't get to go this year, but my co-worker is there.

More than just a CCW Class

Oh yea, I'm not crazy about separating bolts and such, but a trigger lock doesn't replace a safe. IMO, you really should have a safe or secure locking cabinet to keep firearms at home.
