I want to do some tube work on my bed. I know a few people have said they come in a little lighter with a full tube bed. I don't get where the weight is. Espesially on a toyota bed. Is it the floor that is so heavy? Or where can I cut some weight off? I want to run side bars, leave some side...

I don't know the order right now... But you set half in a weird order with the cam high on the front. Then you torn it 180* and set the others. Some of both valves on either rotation. Get a manual to show you. I can look later today.

don't mess with cheep, go to alignmet specialists. Keep an ear on the motor, double check everything again.

paper filters work good for water. I ran a k&n year round on my old trucks xterior snorkle system, rain, snow, sun, whatever. No probs. If you think I oild it your nutz.... Just get a decent fram and be done, or K&N if you gotz the $$ how'd you get water in the motor? Doesn't add up... did you...

the HUGE crossmember in the middle of the truck is the mount for the tranz. Check driveline bolts....

actually check all bolts, driveline and otherwise....

check the bolts holding the motor to the tranz, then shake your clutch fork by hand and see if there is any play. Look for leakage too..... Need more peliminary probs, pre diognostic...

yea it seems like a long ways to the "playground" on the first couple of trips. If you kept heading west was there some boxy looking mountains? Or better yet what did the VERY first turn off look like off the pavement?
