I need to get our Costco membership renewed so I can get their bacon crumbles and get back to bacon and eggs for dinner. For some reason beef fat gives me heartburn, but bacon grease doesn't.

When I was down in Texas, they were replacing some rail sections and for whatever reason had a bunch of 2-3' sections laying around. I thought about grabbing one, but never had the time. Most of the cattle guards there were rail, too.

Anybody have a spare chunk of rail they want to get rid of? I'd love to make a decent anvil.

I was just thinking of this sort of thing, I'd like to do a deep dethatch on my yard, it's still not quite 100%. It was pretty much all dead when we moved in. I've been overseeding with clover, since that takes a lot less water, and also keeps the actual broadleaf weeds down.

The 400 it would have used had a small block pattern, they're getting hard to find. I had a 70 Galaxie with the 300hp high compression 351w, and that thing could haul ass despite being a huge heavy car. If only the steering and brakes could have pretended to keep up with it.

The picture of the engine is too dark, but it should have the 351w since it has a VIN 2. Not a high output beast, really hobbled with emissions restrictions. The 400 was better, but not by a ton in the cars.
