hard wired cb vs hand held

I have the midland 75-822 with a firestick antenna and it works good. Plenty of range for wheeling and when it is not being used (which is most of the time) it stores under the seat.

The PAVEMENT thread: Cars, Racing, Drives, Speed...

My "mid-life crisis" hit a number of years ago, adrenalin is very addicting. The Camaro is about as low as you can get one, rides like tank because of the way it is sprung. I ran mostly open road racing in the 120 class which may not seem all that fast until you try to average that for a 100...

Caleb and biznnp thanks for the complements. The car is my favorite, it is just a lot of fun to drive and it still puts a smile on my face :)

8.1 Liter Chevys, who has them and what do you think?

I have an 8.1 in a 2001 HD with about 55,000 miles on it that I bought new. For the most part it does a good job pulling my 24ft enclosed trailer with my race car and miscellaneous items weighing about 8000lbs. It pulls a flat bed and a jeep great. I drive fairly fast so on the open road...

Senator Dabakis and Representative Arent in support of action for Greater Canyonlands

I read the following on the suwa web site and it is very concerning that some of our elected State Senators and House Representatives are in support of the Executive action to protect Greater Canyonlands. Remember this when it is election time. "Utah state Senator Jim Dabakis has just...

    Mbryson's 2012 JKU "build"

I my opinion the JK for a daily driver seeing moderate off road use (not Pritchett) a 3” is just right. Does not need the long arm at 3” and drives well, especially compared to a lifted TJ.

    Mbryson's 2012 JKU "build"

I have not re-geared, still the 4.1. I have the manual trans so the final drive is not too bad on the freeway, 6th most of the time, 5th on hills. Being a Rubicon the 4:1 transfer case makes low range work well. I do have a set of 4.56 gears and install kits but have not installed them.

Experience with any of the pocket 9mm guns?

"the guy said the Shield is pretty much identical to the PPS (in size, shape, and feel) which makes sense as they were both made by the same company (Smith and Wesson)" I have shot both the Shield and PPS, are very close in size and feel. The Shield is a little less money if you can find one...
