This probably won't go over well, but....

I'm no expert on it. And without even attempting to cover the entire story I will share why I felt that way. From everything I have read it seems as though a rouge bishop got together with some Indians and killed the group of settler's that were passing through... Now some say it was only...

Need help. Cant get the church to quit knocking on my door.

True... I guess there is a lot that may never be known, but I don't think Mountain Meadows at all resembles the crusades...:-\

Need help. Cant get the church to quit knocking on my door.

 The difference was the incident was not church sanctioned nor were they killed because they were not Mormon, and I say this not to justify it at all it was a terrible thing that happened but you are taking it totally out of context... And the thread is over Mountain Meadows has...

    Caleb's 2003 Double Cab

 Yeah he definately was interesting to deal with... although he appeared to have taken good care of everything when I bough the bumper off him he had everything meticulously labeled and zip tied together. He couldn't stop telling me about his 12k 1st gen 4runner that he bought for camping...

How much would you pay for an '85 4-Runner?

IMO it is a little steep unless they have cleaned it up nice and it was in great condition but if it is just average then it might not be worth it. Have they upgraded to cross over stearing or is it still push/pull, what kind of lift? etc. Ask all the standard questions but I think there are...

How much would you pay for an '85 4-Runner?

Is it SR5? Stock? If not what has been done? Miles? Rebuilt engine? How much rust? It can really vary on any or all of those variables, but if it was really clean and stock and under 200k miles with a strong running engine and no problems $1500-$2500 but it all really depends...

Need help. Cant get the church to quit knocking on my door.

Sorry I should have used the quotes I was talking about the guy who had a no solicitation sign that wanted to be able to press charges... I totally agree with you in that you should not be put in a position which you feel like you have to be rude in order to get a point across and I appreciate...

Need help. Cant get the church to quit knocking on my door.

The best way is for you to find out what ward you are in then talk to the bishop and ask to remove your wife's records from the church. You will probably have to have your wife write a letter saying so and that you wish to have no contact. This should keep most people from the wards coming by...

    Paul R's 97 Tacoma

I haven't done the deck plate yet as going from the 4 cyl 22r to 3.4 v6 hasn't left me begging for power especially with the manual tranny, but I've thought about it... Have you done it? how is it? Honestly I haven't heard any difference with the snorkel. Kurt is definately the man to grab it...

    Paul R's 97 Tacoma

Thanks John! :) The snorkel is great! It is mounted super solid and has no noises at all on the freeway course not that I can hear over the MTR's. No rattle or chaffing that I can see other than a 3 1/4" hole in my fender ;) I didn't drill all my holes other than the intake hole as large as is...

    New Here

Welcome! I would say if you are in to the rocks get some good tires and like others have suggested go from there. Sliders and protection like bumpers and skid plates would be good. Maybe a mild suspension just build it as you need it :)
