Enough with the looks. Most say it looks like a piece of excrement but how does it perform on and off road? Of course if no one can get over the old square box no one will buy it and I will never find out. The cost looks high to me.

I used a closed cell ensolite pad with a ground cloth of some kind. It also helped in the back of the Scout or on a cot for insulation. Not meant for comfort but could always make a hip hole in sand, snow, or dirt with leaves.

We always used Silicone Adhesive and if the hole was big we would just glue a patch on it. RTV is the same as Silicone adhesive that Doss mentions.
