    Helicopters/drones for filming

I haven't programmed my C button for anything yet. Active track is great for when I'm walking or SUPing, low altitude shots, but not so great for higher altitude when filming the Jeep on a dirt road. I use Follow Me for that. I just downloaded the new firmware yesterday that is supposed to...

    Helicopters/drones for filming

It looks like a fun little thing. I've been following the release today. Doesn't shoot 4k, but it's a drone for fun and things like that so it doesn't need 4k. I think it fits well in DJI's group of drones.

    Timelapse

Between 1 and 5 seconds depending on what I'm shooting and the length of time covered. For a short time lapse of clouds or sunset I go for 1 or 2 seconds just so the movement is smoother. If I know it will be a longer time lapse like the sun moving across the sky I'll go up to 10 seconds. I like...

    Helicopters/drones for filming

I'm loving this Mavic. I get great footage, have amazing control, and I love the different modes I can fly in. It's so much easier to get the shots I want vs using a Gopro strapped to my Iris+ The in-controller control over every aspect of the camera is awesome. I even live streamed to...

    Helicopters/drones for filming

From what I've seen and read, using cinematic mode will slow down the Mavic and make the turns more smooth and buttery. Mine will be here tonight so I'll try it out if there's still light when I get it.

I ordered mine on Amazon, but the seller is actually DJI.

    Helicopters/drones for filming

My new Mavic will be here on Wednesday. I crashed my Iris+ into a bell tower yesterday. The UAV is fine, but the gimbal is toast. I'll use the Iris+ for surveying and still shots and the Mavic for everything else.

    SUP's any experience?

I've fished off my SUP a number of times. It helps to strap a small cooler on to have somewhere to sit and to put the fish. I like it but you do drift a ways while focusing on fishing. It's not a problem except on smaller lakes.

    SUP's any experience?

I didn't look at the one in the link, but I would only consider one with a drop stitch floor (unless it is a packraft). The drop stitch tech. is what makes inflatables rigid and not floppy.

    Your favorite car T.V. shows

The Grand Tour (amazon) Dirt Every day (netflix) Some You tube of roadkill. That's pretty much it, I hate commercials so I rarely watch regular TV. I only keep cable for the kids.

    SUP's any experience?

Just got a second board. An Isle 11' explorer. This board is so much lighter than my other one. I was worried it wouldn't be as rigid when inflated, but I went out today after work and it is every bit as rigid. Light weight, rigid, awesome.

I Don't Know. Is The Signature Worth It?

If it had Walker's signature it would try and drive off the edge moab rim every time you got close to Moab.

Project Fauxverlander 200 Series Land Cruiser Build Thread

Looks awesome. Really nice work. I do have to ask because when I would sleep in the back of my Commander I would just hit the open button on the key fob to open the rear hatch in the mornings. Does the 200 not have that?
