I am looking to do an 8.8 swap into my TJ. I want to eventually get the superior super 8.8 kit. It calls for a 96+ axle with disc brakes. If I dont know the year but know that it has disc brakes does that mean its a 96+ explorer?

I bought a Smittybilt bumper at the Jeep expo in moab. The only problem is its a silver powdercoat. I want to paint it black. If i were to roughen the podercoat up could I just paint over it? Anyone had experience with it?

I have a set and love them. When aired down they do have a lot of sidewall flex. I have run 11 psi w/o issues on a TJ. When in slick situations they get into it. I was in the snow one day with my brother. When climbing a hill my brother described the roost from the tires as snowball size...

Ditto on the KM2's. They are a great tire, not to mention they look pretty sick.

Has anyone done nv3500-nsg370 swap? Is it basically a direct bolt-on? ex: can I use the same clutch etc? Just about three months ago I replaced the clutch and slave cylinder..

I just talked to Wayne at Teraflexplus. He said that I would be better off with the T999 than with the AW4. (less driveshaft stuff and computer stuff), and is basically a direct swap. Any of you done that?

I had my Jeep down at Clegg's in Spanish Fork, and the tranny is going out in the TJ. Have any of you heard of swapping trannys for aw4 out of an XJ? what issues are there? like driveshaft lengths, wiring etc.. I would like to go that route if I have to spend the money anyways... I know...

Alright, so for those of you that have taken the Teraflex antena mount option, does the light still sit flush with the body? If it doesn't, how do you address the issue?

There's a jeep in my garage that could not be driven for a month, (its not a dd) Its been in the YJ for I think 8 years, imo that battery is a champ. I would buy one...

Well, now it does not work at all.. I took the cover off the steering column, and I could move the clock spring to and away from the steering wheel about a 1/4", I wonder if it is just freeplay or if its loose.

the horn won't function until i hit a bump, then it functions, I hit another bump, then it quits functioning

I have a 2000 TJ and since my last excursion last weekend, I have had the Airbag light on. I hit a bump, it turns off, I hit another bump, it turns back on. The horn seems to be doing the same thing... Anyone have any ideas of what is going on?
