Anyone in the valley have 4.7 Toy gears in stock?

I would rather have Marlin, they are $50 more but I am good friends with too many business owners that have had products blatantly copied by TG. My camera took a **** so no pics, it's nothing special, hydro assist steering, welded diffs front and rear, Bilstein 5150 piggybacks, some "for...

Anyone in the valley have 4.7 Toy gears in stock?

I decided my little 84 Toy pickup is going to EJS, but I think I'm going to want to gear down the T-case to spin my new 33's. Is there anyone in the valley that stocks them or has a new set they would be willing to sell? I want to leave Wednesday, but I don't want to order them from Marlin...

    Started TIG welding aluminum tonight...

How did you cut the panels you were welding together? (I know it sounds unrelated, but it may be relevant) If you plasma cut them, that is likely a big part of the problem. Plasma cut aluminum welds like @$$ unless you grind it clean. Another note, if you are grinding on aluminum that you...

    Started TIG welding aluminum tonight...

Use green tungsten, and don't grind it to a point. Before you start on you aluminum, clean your tungsten, turn you machine to DC+ and ball up the end of your electrode on a piece of steel. Just apply heat til the tip of the tungsten melts into a ball, and let it cool. The balled up end keeps...

    good honest offroad shop?

I'm back from Blue Torch and I'm working with MD Motorsports now. We do primarily desert racing stuff, but have lots of experience in the crawling world. In addition to our fab, we do complete race prep, wiring, etc. Since MD hadn't been mentioned yet... :)

Anyone have a really small trailer I could borrow?

That was the original plan, but I don't want to weld spring hangers and a hitch to it because I plan on keeping the chassis bare metal, and anywhere it's been welded on, even if it's ground off, shows up over time. My willys finally! It's top secret for now, but once I get a little more...

Anyone have a really small trailer I could borrow?

I have a crazy idea about towing my bare chassis down to Alabama behind my Civic Hybrid, and I'm looking for an uber-light trailer to carry it on. It weighs just over 400 lbs, I'm hoping to find a rediculously light trailer to keep the total hauled weight under 500 or 600 lbs. I'm headed...

Why Mike Judd at Summit Machine RULES

When I got my poly performance flanges (the ones with the skull and cross bones) I ended up carrying one of the covers around for like a week to show everyone I knew. I started wondering if that was weird, this thread has made me feel a little better about it, thanks guys!

    60's Suck

FYI for all you rockwell fans, i just found this out the other day. The knuckles on a rockwell turn about half as sharp as a 60. I was driving a customers rig with front and rear steer rock's a couple days ago, man that thing needs 4 wheel steer! That was kinda a kick in the nuts for my...
