    Snowbird expansion in Mineral Basin

Came back to add a call out for Skylinerider Curt Hall, he has experience manipulating GIS data and making maps and experience as an employee with the BLM. Or someone from the new group can use a contact at any district office to get a copy of the data we'd like to have. Also adding to the...

    Snowbird expansion in Mineral Basin

Right on. The FS should have the first three in their GIS data to be able to pop out a map within a few minutes. Not the kind of thing they'd do for average Joe off the street, but someone mentioned they had a friend in one of the districts? I'm too far out of the loop to know anyone useful...

Northern Utah AF is open, never been. Going Saturday 16 May

Consider following the issue of imminent closures in AF Canyon. Thread below, and I'm sure more will pop up with additional information. http://www.rme4x4.com/showthread.php?108210-Snowbird-expansion-in-Mineral-Basin

    Snowbird expansion in Mineral Basin

Can you email what you have and I'll make maps like the 5MP ones we did years ago. Money is the root of good as well. We don't like what's happening? Let's stop it with our own efforts and financial support. This has been Snowbird's plan for a long time, and they're slowly chipping away at...

If you supported Take Back Utah, here's exactly why you're an idiot

Taking state control of federal lands was NEVER about defending multiple use or offroad recreation. It was always about development, the extractive industry and money. At the time I took a lot of heat when Chad Booth from AYL came to a U4WDA board meeting to ask for support of Take Back Utah...

SLC to Denver or Cheyenne or Kansas City or In Between

Leaving town on Friday, going from SLC to Springfield, MO. Could go either I-80 (Rock Springs, Laramie, Cheyenne, North Platte, Lincoln, Omaha, Kansas City) or I-70 (Moab, Grand Junction, Denver, Kansas City). I have a 34' flat bed car hauler, anything up to 10,000lbs. 40 cents a mile...

Upcoming SUWA Rally, maybe we should rally against their rally

You know I do have a "use it while you can" mentality, I've given up hope of what many people have been fighting for so many years. But I don't believe that those efforts have been wasted or shouldn't continue. As you do, I believe cooperative management and user involvement is the key to...

Upcoming SUWA Rally, maybe we should rally against their rally

Excellently said. This should be the obvious response to every "Take Back Utah", "Utah should manage it's own public land", or "Why do the Feds manage our land?" thread.

Which land use group to donate to?

The "Current Issues" on the USA-ALL website are all about 5 years old, not sure how they're a good group to donate to. http://www.usaall.org/?issues.htm MFFW is an awesome group to send money for "getting it done" on the ground. Red Rock 4-Wheelers is also an awesome group to join and support...

    Miller Hill Trail AF Canyon

It's in black because that part is on private property, not administered by the USFS, those are street legal only "in theory". The spiderweb of roads leading to the trail have moved and been closed over the years.

Upcoming SUWA Rally, maybe we should rally against their rally

Maybe we should just post copies of the constitution on all this fake "federal land" and call it good? There's paper and then there's reality, sometimes unfortunate reality. But to return management of these lands to the states is laughable at best. And to other points, environmentalists are...

Upcoming SUWA Rally, maybe we should rally against their rally

Tim Wagner was a cool guy when I knew him from Sierra Club. Now it's the same old scare tactics using drilling and destruction as the excuse for closing 100% of mechanized travel. Cody, you're an access hero.

Feds reopen 3 roads in Deep Creek

    Performance Motors in Lindon?

I'm not sure, but check with Kurt. I asked him to check on a Landcruiser in Lindon and I thought this was the place. If so, he can tell you how it ended.
