    Who to boycott

You don't know me and you don't know the level at which I'm involved or understand these issues. Not that you're concerned about who you call out and why. I do not suggest this should be taken lightly, I suggest these reactions should be considered in context and with appropriate understanding...

    Who to boycott

I didn't read every post, but I'm reminded how history repeats itself. Firing off responses and boycott emails is as bad as the knee-jerk reactions of those who support closing OHV access. This issue comes around over and over again. Search "boycott" here on RME for several examples. A few...

    OHV Economic Impact on Utah

I don't remember if there's a specific one on Utah (other than the gov's office study on wilderness impact) but there are numerous studies. A quick google search will yield many results. Somewhere here or in the LURT I posted a link not to long ago to a study by the FS.

$225 ticket, spreading the lesson learned

The Forest Service rule is closed unless posted/designated open, BLM rules (5MP, Black Rock Canyon, etc) would be different.

$225 ticket, spreading the lesson learned

If the road is that well traveled, why isn't it a designated route. Get a map from the forest service office. Either don't drive on the roads that aren't on it, or work with the FS to get roads added to it. :)

    anyone ever use plasti dip?

Not sure how well it would hold up on wheels. I use it to restore factory wiring brackets on $100K+ cars, so it works for some stuff.

Help needed with AF Canyon Service project: Thursday and Friday, Sept 27th-28th

Apparently you need to become aware of what this saying means. We've met. I barely remember you either. Good luck on the project, thanks to everyone involved for taking their time to give back.

    AF Canyon Saturday Sept 22nd

Shock that an active wheeler wouldn't know of a cool mountain road less than 10 miles from most people's favorite SLC wheeling destination. This fence removal was asked for many years ago. Cool to see someone making it happen, hope there are plenty of volunteers to get it done.

Is Snakes considered part of 5MP?

On your map, the "Target Shooting Area Closure" is the same boundy as the Special Recreation Management Area (SRMA) known as Five Mile Pass. So Rattlesnake and Constrictor are technically within the SRMA of 5MP, but also partially on private property as many will note. But not all of 5MP is...
