BITD Laughlin Hare Scramble race report and footage...

While a lot of you were at the Rhino Rally, we were a little further down south for the BITD hare scramble. By we, I mean Myself and Sam Chesnut (he used to work at Teraflex before moving to WA. about 10 years ago). Anyway, its a moto-only event that covers mostly singletrack with some wider...

    Rhino Rally

If anyone is down there as early as Thursday night and wants to grab some dinner, let me know. A buddy and I are racing in Laughlin on Sat., but we're staying in St. George that night. Good luck at the Rhino ya'll...

Does your wife ride dirt bikes?

Yeah, just out away from the main area. If she starts going more and works on getting better, I'll take her to some more challenging areas and maybe some singletrack.

Don't be scared of a Moose

Now that I've had time to think about it more, I've never run the same mousse for more than 800 miles. That's probably a more accurrate estimation. I know I've changed one out only after about 500, but that's the very least.

Don't be scared of a Moose

I started running them up front back in '08-ish. I've been getting roughly 800-1000 miles out of one depending on terrain/abuse (of course, thats pushing it). At one of the BOR races, I had to ride about 30 miles on a rear flat, which isn't a big deal. Riding on a flat front just sucks too...

BITD Laughlin race on Feb. 22. Anyone wanna help pit?

My buddy Sam and I are teaming up for this race and although we can pit ourselves or maybe get a hand from another team's pit, an extra guy would be helpful. Unfortunately, the Rhino Rally is on the same day, so it seems all our buddies that could pit are racing in St. George. It's kind of a...

    Good used bib mousse FREE!

Yep, worth paying someone in my opinion. Even when using a tire machine they suck.

    Good used bib mousse FREE!

FWIW, he got a good deal on a couple NEW Michelin fronts (still in box) and has been selling them for $100 each. I think he may have 1 left.

    Good used bib mousse FREE!

If any of you want to try out running a front bib, my buddy Blaine @ OHV Service removed one of mine today. Its just gonna get thrown away unless someone wants it, like now! Install is a messy PITA, so I'd have him install it. His number is (801) 673-1911 and his shop is in So. Jordan.

Does your wife ride dirt bikes?

Well look at you... Hangin' out with the SL HoneyBEES? Lucky man. She had a great time with those girls for sure. However, she didn't have much time to ride with her Dad this past year. :(

    Let's talk boots

I really like my Tech 8's, but I beat up the steel tips in really rough stuff. I'll have to call these guys and see if they can turn a traditional steel-tipped sole into a molded type. Not sure that's possible...
