How could you ever forget someone is back there? Hell, when I don't have my kiddo back there it seems I am always checking anyway, its second nature now and he's only 5 months old.

Ever see a Utah bear or mountain lion?

saw a black bear in Ephraim canyon about 7 years ago, and I've seen numerous mountain lions over the years.

Why are mountain bikers allowed to build new trails?

I love to mountain bike, but there is such hipocrasy in MTB circles it makes me sick.

How is this lady in charge?

It's not even about being LDS. I'm LDS and have never drank alcohol, but she is just stupid, a bottle cannot offend anyone. Don't wanna drink? Don't. Nobody is gonna be pouring you a drink unless you ask for it.

From the Trib; Off-road activist says he's tossed in the towel

I have a lot of respect for Huck, and it's sad that he no longer feels he can keep up the fight. I understand where he is coming from, sometimes I feel those same frustrations. It just shows we need more help.

    Can of worms: School Vouchers

You can already transfer your kids to ANY public school, and enroll in whatever private school you want provided you pay the tuition. This really isn't about choice as there is already lots of choices. If I wanted to enroll my kid in a school in SLC instead of Stansbury I could easily.

    Can of worms: School Vouchers

Public school is not there to find your focus in life. It is to give a general education. Then when you (hopefully) go to college you find a focus and tailor your education to fit that focus. I was never taught "dogma" in public school. It honestly sounds like you have an axe to grind that...

    Can of worms: School Vouchers

The public school system did not fail me. I had classes with 30+ students, I still learned. No the teacher didn't have time to hold my hand and spoon feed me the material. I was expected to study and pay attention in class. I had parents who made sure I did my homework and helped when I had...

    Can of worms: School Vouchers

No matter which way you cut it, there is still public money going to aid private schools. Still not good IMO.

    Can of worms: School Vouchers

The way I heard it is that you don't get the credit if your kid is already in private school. It is only if you put them in after this year. I still don't understand how pro voucher groups say it will give more money to public school children when as it stands now you pay the school tax...

    U4WDA Raffle

Well, here's my thinking and maybe I'm wrong, but I think you could get more revenue from a $5 or $10 dollar ticket than a $25 ticket, I really feel more folks will pony up the smaller amount and generate more money than the $25 ticket overall. I know I rarely carry more than a $20 in my wallet...
