Just an FYI the complete Namura top end repair kit comes with every gasket and O ring on the motor except the bottom end stuff.
However the powervalve gasket covers where wrong.
Also I'm trying Pacific Pipe repair on my FMF pipe. I paid someone else to do it but it was too out of shape for...
The "idle circuit" composes all the passageways from the pilot jet throughout the carb; including airscrew passageways and choke passageways.
In other words: if it runs ok, but won't idle the main jet (or passages connecting to the main jet circuit) probably aren't plugged; something else is...
Do it. I've had great success with the pine sol.
Jared, I'm preeeeety sure you've either got a clogged idle jet or the idle circuit is clogged somewhere.
Bike has 85 hrs. I did almost everything new on it.
I picked up an LED bar, fab'd a mount and wired it up too. Can't wait to do a night ride! Who wants to go?!

New top end time. Namura Hypereutectic piston kit at Donnie's recommendation. Didn't have any compression loss just preventative maintenance. Repacked the starter gears with grease. New plug.
New Jetting: Nbrh needle 2 position. Air Screw 2 turns out. 170 main. 35 idle. 1.5 turns out idle...
Do yourself a favor don't use spray paint and get your boy on it with a wire wheel on an angle grinder then brush on Rustoleum rusty metal primer then Rustoleum enamel.
Skip the treated lumber and go Douglass fir or pine and boiled linseed oil.
Steering is an easy fix. Aftermarket ball joints, Late model oem linkage and an HD trackbar. I'd rather spend <1k on steering for a Dodge than 10k on a F*rd diesel motor fix for a 6.0...
I rode from Red Cliff, Colorado the other day up the 709, tried to do the 747 but it was a river and I only made it about 2 miles before the river had overflowed the bank and run onto the trail; I rode up that an eighth mile before there was a stream crossing that was way too deep to try alone...
I just did a new rear Galfer rear rotor and EBC red pads.
I got into some mud and wet sand and trashed the stock rear rotor.
Slapped on some clear fuel line and a filter too.
I'm thinking I'm due for a carb refresh, new battery, and a top end.
Is a Shorai lithium battery all it's talked up to be? I get a pretty good deal on them.
What is the best piston kit to get?
Also, how regularly should I refresh my fork oil?
