That pic is one 4" light only (AFASIK - was posted by someone on another forum who claimed that).. Also, that little light is mounted on the roof of his Xterra. I hope to mount mine in the next few months. I plan on installing a light bar up top in front of the wet box on the roof.. I think...

Here's a pic of a single 4" HID from Checker.. Pretty impressive based on the usual Hella 500, KC's, or IPF's. I don't think that my two 100W IPF come close to that much light.

My 99 4runner is having issues with the hood popping up while on the freeway. It pops up an inch or so, not all the way open. It's absolutely annoying, and potentially very dangerous. I think that the Checker HID's feel far more stout than my IPF's in thier construction. My IPF's are 100w as well, so they throw some decent light. I believe that 1 6" HID is brighter than my 2 100w IPF's.. Which is cool cause IIRC the HID's are 35w. Just based on what I noticed. The HID's...

I don't mind being on a trial with folks who smoke as long as they are mindful of others around that might not enjoy it as much as they do. However, if my wife is along she is extremely sensative to the smell. Something to do with hormones/birth control??.. I dunno. But I do know she can get...

The guy I got it from is the homeless father of a co-worker, who once in a whlie lives out of said co-worker's shed.. He cruises around in a motorized wheelchair due to years of cancer and pain.. He liks the blue tops for his wheelchair.. Wierdest thing ever. :eek2:

Took it to Checker and Autozone.. Both confirmed the Optima had serious issues. Both of the testing units showed that the Optima was producing around 150CCA's. So ya, it was gone. Lost a cell or more. I ended up getting a group 34 Duralast Gold.. 1000CCA's, side posts, 3yr free replacement...
