    Overlanding Options for Newb

I know that the GoFast Camper have a unit for the F-150 similar to this video... this allows you to climb up in the bed and open a door in the bottom of the tent to climb into it. then move the hatch back so you have full room up there. When you want to stand up you can pull the floor over and...

    Business back up electricity options

the latest crazy is using the battery systems like EcoFlow has. There is a new circuit breaker you buy and hook to ecoflow units and when the power goes out the whole system jumps to the battery system. You can put solar panels out to recharge them while the power is out... There is a whole...

NAPA 12-Volt Dual Air Compressor (MT-WM102-15C)

I have the ARB Dual compressor in my Jeep and made a high flow set up which is overkill due to the valve stems being the stopper. I have #6 wire from the battery to the compressor so high amp. I went from 13 pounds up to 38 on my 37x12.50x17 tires all 4 at once.

    Trail Mater

You think he has a whole bunch of tires of different companies laying around to use? I don't think so but I do agree maybe he could have tried to maybe air up the ones that were there... his buggy does have on board air. At least he did remove the spare and put it on so he had 2 good tires.

    Nate’s longterm tiny shop build

I was a electrician for awhile... I to would recommend stubbing the conduit up in the foundation to keep it all in the wall. Use a 100amp panel. Electrical outlets need to be every 6 feet and I would go with 20amp outlets instead of the 15amp ones. This will give you better use of the outlet...

    The Ham Radio Thread

the 300dr is an easy to program radio but the screen is tiny... I have the ftm-100 that everyone wants and I like that screen better. The ftm-400 and the new 500 have large screens and I would probably go to one of those but they have discontinued the 400 and the 500 is just outrageous in price...

Jeep Wrangler JL/JT EcoDiesel discussion; 2nd Gen engine with fixes?

I did see that they were going to take the diesel option away from the ram but was going to keep it for the jeeps. I have just over 70k miles on my JLURD and still love it. when diesel started to go up I changed out my 37" tires for the stock 33 thinking I would get better mileage. well I...
