    They would be Pearl and Schofield Passes. My favorite is Engineer Pass in the Ouray, CO area. In Utah, White Rim and Lockhart Basin are at the top of the list. I haven't run Hole in the Rock, but it's definitely on the list to do at some point.

    That's still describing the center diff, not the axle's diff. Locking the center puts it into conventional 4WD from AWD. The front and rear are still open with the electronic traction control providing limited slip characteristics.

    For the 2003-2004 4Runners, the largest tires you can fit are 265/75/16's or 265/70/17's, depending on the wheel size you end up with. Note that there are not any 16" wheels which will fit on the ones equipped with 17's as the calipers are bigger and will not clear, should one want 16's.
