You might have a bad fit on the bike. Try raising the handlebars a hair. You probably have a threaded/quill steerer, which makes it easy.

I picked up a little diode thingy that goes in the alternator fuse slot and is supposed to boost the voltage to make the AGM happy. But I haven't been running AGM, so I don't know if it works or not. Maybe that's an option in the JLU though?
