It depends on what you want to do it'll do everything OK but it won't do anything overly exciting. It will be underpowered both off road and on road. But it would get the job done.

I've been slothful. We be finished. How you tension belts on a flat head ford. Strap to steel beam tension them up. Runs even better then I thought it would. Power steering, disc brakes all around, 12 volts.

Axles steering etc removed. I'd like to meet the guy who decided to put the master cylinder on the side of the frame. That was fun to get out.

No I don't want to make it too complicated. Supposedly there's an aftermarket carburetor out there that was used to replace the really tall single carb. Listen Mr. Google AKA Russ find me one this morning.

For those not familiar a Flathead Ford is pretty funky it has a water pump on each side of the motor

Also looking for an aftermarket carb to replace the tall stock carb to be able to get the air cleaner under the hood. If can't find carb going to try to build an air cleaner to take it over to the side and put a small hood scoop on the hood.

Ordered a bunch of parts Advance hanging pedals, master cylinder Power steering box, already have pump. Along with steering parts. Gears for Dana 30 AMC 20. Going to 4.88 to try to stay close to stock gearing. Stock is 5.38 it's not going to be low enough with stock trans and 33's but that's as...

I did one on a scrambler a few years ago and as I recall it was a very simple process.
