No! NO it does not smell bad all the vent hoses still vent outside the vehicle, there is no smell of gas at all. this does not fail saftey beacuse of that reason,the tank just has to be secure and vented properly. its basically the same as a fuel cell without spending 500 bucks, this mod didnt...

now im going to cover it and build some storage boxes around it for tools and such!
