Anyone interested in going up to Logan Peak sometime tomorrow (wednesday)? Providence canyon? Millville canyon? Right hand fork? I am good to go up either way. I would like to go sometime closer to after 12pm because I work until 2:30am tonight.

We started at right hand fork and were making a loop past ephrams and then out temple fork but yes the bridge is still out. Thats when we looked at the map and decided to try a new route to blacksmith. Thats unfortunate that the trail has been smoothed out...I was really looking for something...

Actually there was absolutely no snow, atleast at the end of the trail. I may go up Blacksmith Fork on Thursday and try starting at the Trailhead, maybe the brush is not so bad at the beginning.

Actually yes that is the trail that I am talking about. Although the Shoshone Trail map says that the trail starts at the highway (trail #26) and that is the trail that turns off to the right. If you go to the left it turns into trail #23 and heads up to Four Corners and then up to Ephram's...

Has anyone been down this trail lately? The trailhead is just a couple miles into Blacksmith Fork Canyon in Hyrum. There is a good section of that trail that is supposedly rated "most difficult" on my trail map. My wife and I were out exploring this past weekend and we came down from Ephram's...

Just went up to the quarry and everything looks pretty dry. I'm sure there will be snow up by the rodeo grounds. It's gonna be chilly in the morning!

I think we are going to skip out on the Moab trip and plan another, longer, trip later in the month. If we meet at Macey's at 9am-ish I will definitely be in for this.

Also, If there is a snow fall the night before or the morning you guys are going be prepared for pin strips...this is what the trail to the quarry looks like right now with snow on the branches.

Take the cheap route first for shocks and get some Rubicon take-offs, most JK "X" owners swap out for these and get a much smoother ride. You can find some with low mileage on most forums for around $50.

Just went up on Thursday and Friday (I live right at the mouth) and you will do just fine in the FJ. The rockiest part of the trail is just above the quarry and if you pick your line right you can avoid undercarriage damage on the big rocks. As of today, the snow at the top will not be much of...
