I got this about a year ago when the motor went out on my truck. I planned on driving it till the motor was replaced then selling it. But I ended up liking the thing so I kept it! Til now.
Ive been wanting another Scout to use as a daily driver and I found one thats decent and in the budget so the jeep has to go.
It has about 170k miles on it. Its the 4.0. It has a 2" puck lift and 31" BFG mud tires on it. The rear 2 tires are like new....the fronts are a bit worn so it might need an alignment. But it does drive good and straight.
Body has a couple dents, interior has some issues. Its dark gray cloth. A good shampooing would probably clean most everything up. But for a 2500 dollar rig I think its fine.
AC works but the blower only blows on high and low. Nothing in between.
Ive been using it for work pulling my little enclosed work trailer. Its been a dead reliable Jeep. All I have done is change the oil. I drove it to Cali and back last June with no issues. On the freeway it gets over 20 mpg. I was surprised. And thats going off gps mileage and actual gas used. Not the overhead console display. It has a in dash cheap DVD player that mostly works.
This Jeep would be perfect for a high school kid. Or a good start for a crawler project. It is kind of a beater but for the price....you cant complain.
I need 2500 out of it or it isnt worth selling.
No trades unless you have a Scout...then we can talk.
More pics will be added but for now this will give you an idea of what your looking at
