The crowds were down this year as were the number of competitors. But the competitors were awsome and gave us one  of a show. I will try to post some pics and resaults later (when I find them) but I still need to do some more cleaning, and then veg for a time. Thanks again guys. :hickey:

I've gotta think the UROC event in Vernal took away some entrants and some spectators, don't ya think? I know I for one wanted to attend, but had the previous commitment to compete in Vernal.

I thought the turn out was good. Competitor wise anyway. Not many spectators, though. And only 3? buggies?

It was a fun event! I had a blast!! There was a guy that I talked into going, that was trying to back out after seeing the courses, but I kept pushing him to at least try it and see. He finally did try it and had a blast!!!

We were down allmost half of last years spectators and lost 1/3 of our competitors. I think some of that is due to all the 4X4 related things that went down that day not to metion some competitors did run away when they got wind of how hard the Challenge was going to be.

Yeah, it was kinda funny when they were announcing who won each class. The three of them just stayed up there and changed spots for the camera!

There were 4 rigs in the open class but the Chev luv driven by Travis just wasn't quite ready. I think we will move the event to a cooler time of year for 06. what do you all think spring or fall?

we will have to see what other events are going on for the year and try to schedule around them if at all possible

we would have to do it when the spectators would enjoy sitting there allday

That's true... This year was cooler than last year. I heard last year is was in the 90's with no breeze. This year it was in the 80's, partly cloudy and a light wind all day. That makes it a lot more tolerable. Only problem is nobody can guess the weather in advance - especially 2 months in advance to start planning the event! Good luck with that, Scott, Marvin, etc... :D

Very true, I think you have better odds playing the 1 armed bandits in Vegas then you do gessing the spring weather in Utah.
