new JK on 37's. As long as its a Rubicon...

I've driven both, and they both have plus's and minuses, but for me 4drs is just way more practical & more my style....

I would take the 05 even if I did not think the 07s were the ugliest Jeeps ever (Yes even uglier than the 3Bs)

The new Unlimited has a 116" wheelbase, not 119, but no matter I would still take a 05, or 06 with the 103.5" wheelbase. The 07 has some nice features, but would even be nicer with a V-8.

19 MPG=runabout? I'll bet you'll change your mind..... Dont know what the claims are on the V6 LJ mileage yet, but it's a Jeep. 20 mpg tops? Runnabout my azz, better have a lot more fuel storage in em.

An '05 is a minivan like yours. 2 door

(I think we'll end up with an '07 or '08 Wrangler for mom's runabout, though)

That's the same as her ZJ........ I ain't buying a new Grand. Them hit every branch in the tree on the way down and drive like a '94 Taurus. (If I want a Taurus, I'll buy one.) She can drive it for a few years and I'll 'adopt' it later.

in my opinion i like the four doors but i wont own one till the are old as hell so im not afraid of rolling it i mean come on if you put a better front bumper on it and some flat fenders lockers and a winch that thing would rock it looks bad ass sitting there or just buy and old cherokee and make it into that cut the rear out shape it like a cj 7 rear end throw on the tail gate ur ready to rock and not afraid to roll. just my 2 cents or more.

The 05 built the way it is, costs $65k so unless you can afford 65k to build a new jk built w/ the same set up would be bad ass but it needs a 4.7L v8.
