1/4 eliptical

Looking for suggestions as to which type/brand/model leaf springs to use on my CJ to 1/4 elip the back axle. I have a set of wrangler leafs and some wag/jtruck leafs. Suggestions? J20

Why are you sold on 1/4 elips? just curious?

Oh, just got to crawl around Avalanche Eng's rig last year at Moab. The 1/4 elip on the rear of it sort of intrigued me. The idea of lots of droop kind of makes sense to me. It also looks like something I could build pretty easy.

One thing to think about is its harder to set up 1/4 eliptic with verry little rear steer and binding of the controll arms...... Coils are a litte easier to set up and you can still get alot of droop......

Thanks for the link Grinch. Excellent write up. There are a lot of factors there that you wouldn't find out until you had tried it yourself.
