Anyone have a 1" round tube die I could borrow for a bend or two? I've got a seat frame on an older Land Cruiser that needs a couple new legs which are roughly a 90* bend and some light 1" material. I don't think the radius will matter, 3.0" or 4.5" should do just fine.

What about a 1" conduit bender from a hardware supply store? I think they are like $20 and I know people who have built roof racks with them. Might work if noone has a bender to lend.

You know for this project that might actually work. I wonder what kind of radius those are capable of? Looks fairly wide which may be an issue. Though a quick internet search at Lowes/HD is looking more like $60+ for a 1" conduit bender.

Anyone have experience with the HF compact bender?

I'm sure it would bring the suck for any serious material work but I have a Carlski/JD2 setup for that... Anyone used this setup to make u-bolts or bend thin-wall tube (1x.125") for example?

I think my dad might even have a 1" conduit bender, I'll ask him, if it would work. And yeah my price guess was just off my best estimate of what I could remember ha

I may take you up on that, worst case I could send Olly with the material (which I still need to buy). If I had (4) 90* pieces with 8-10 legs on each side, I'd be set.
