I know I said I'd be doing pushups today, but my core and shoulders still ache from Wednesday and I've got a weekend full of crawling around the driveway in front of me, so I ain't doin' it.

I'll still be starting Day One on Monday.

I finished Week 2, Day 3 today. 16,17,14,14, then max (at least 20)--I managed 22 on the last one. Better than Wednesday!

Kevin--I was pretty sore from the initial deal, before I did Wednesday's sets--after I did them, it loosened me right up and I felt better after just a few hours. Thurs didn't leave me NEARLY as sore as I was on Wed...so there's that. :)

The app sucks! It either double counts or it won't start counting, I'm going to need to just look at the website for the reps.
I agree on working out the soreness, your body isn't use to the work, Keep up the great work all!

Week 3, day 1...14,18,14,14,22. The first two sets were tough today, but then they got easier. Until the end, then they were hard again. :D

The schedule on the website tells you how long to wait. Today mine said wait 60 seconds between sets, but then says "longer if required"....so that statement probably makes it mostly your choice.

I didn't time it exactly or anything, I assume it was close to 60 seconds. I get bored waiting around so I am sure on some sets (this goes for interval training at the gym, too) I may rush it.


All, I know is that I'm not used to just doing set after set of the same thing. As well, that last set absolutely tested my head because I wanted to stop at 10, 11, 12... and then finally at 20 I felt bad because I didn't try to eek out one more.

Thanks for posting this. My exhaustion set was min. 9. 9 was tough and I almost stopped there, but I thought of your post and was able to squeek out 2 more.

I tried the initial test today and I only got 12 in before I was starting to lose form lol...damn it. I tried using the app but it did not log a single push up. Is there a particular spot to place the phone so it actually detects it?

I'm with Brian, I couldn't make that app work right either. Maybe I do crappy pushups.
