Posted this last night, but we lost it when we restored the site after being hacked...

I just noticed we had our 12,000th member register today... We also had our 10 year anniversary last December. 10 years... where has the time gone?!

I was just looking back at the 1st post in the 'Introductions' thread from 2001, where I was talking about the intentions of RME...

Greg said:
My goal behind creating RME is to build a local group of hardcore 4x4 users to: Wheel with, swap parts with, share technical info, provide support on land use issues, and build friendships with people who have the same interest. Hopefully much more will grow out of this, as time passes.

Awesome.... I think we've hit the nail on the head with that one! I just want to say thanks to all you guys and gals that have joined and contributed to make this online community one of the BEST around. I've made literally thousands of friends thru RME, had some great experiences and opportunities and shared many trail miles with a lot of the good people here.

Thanks for the support and help! I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to the next 10 years of being involved with RME.

Thanks Greg. This site is awesome for sure. So many helpful and friendly people park their computers here and even though I've only been on here for 3 years I've met some great people and learned a lot.

I am looking forward to seeing the great things to come from RME.

Mr. Gardner and Mr. Herzog, I know I have not been on here as long as most but, I do think that this is the best Off Road Forum I belong to. Thanks for all the support you give our hobby, and thank you for bringing all of us together!

I can't believe it's been 10 years!

I love this website. I spend way too much time here but I can never go long without checking in. I've learned so much from everybody who is or has been here and I'm always watching and learning more from the tech threads here.

I guess I'm not just an admin, I'm also a user.

Happy 10th RME! Here's to another 10 years of learning, tech, cool builds and fun!

Thanks LT.! That means a lot! :)

This place certainly wouldn't be where it is today without our awesome crew of moderators too.

I think RME is really neat but if you don't get a lot more KJs on here, you've fallen short of the hard core wheeler goal... just sayin'

Congrats.

RME kept me sane during my travels back east, kept me from killing retarded righands in Vernal (see Jamesgeologist's old sig ), has made me money and taken more, and introduced me to a wide variety of friends and fine folk. I really couldn't ask for much more out of a website.

It's been a great ride so far hahahahah

It seems like only yesterday when I ran into my old friend Greg down in Moab and he told me he was starting RME...ahh the memories...especially when I spent some time in the official RME "Band"...not many folks around here can claim that!! A lot has happened in 10 years...most of it for the better I can honestly say!!
