I agree, i drove a 2000 Cummins to Cali and i couldnt believe the steering issues it had for being 5 years old and 100k miles on it. There front end is a joke, it sounds like they still dont have it fixed. My dad and me both have 99 Powerstrokes and we love them. I havent had a chance to drive a Duramax yet, just sit in one.

So, I'm going to go look at a 92 Cummins for sale today. Do you know of any issues with these trucks/motor/trans(auto) that I should look out for? thanks for your help.

I have heard that you can order a ford with the cummins in it. That would be the way to go.

I am new to this website but I can tell you that the cummins is a great diesel. I wish I could say the same about the dodge.
