12V Outlet (Cig Lighter) to Dell Laptop Adapter, local source?

Any recommendations on where to find a 12V power cable to go from a standard auto 12V outlet (cigarette lighter) to the pin plug on the back of my laptop (Dell Vostro) fwiw. It puts out 19.5V DC, 3.5A. I'm finding that several of the countries I'll be visiting use different wall plug configurations, rather than purchase a couple different ones I think I'd be better off charging it while we drive (which is often 20 hours a day :D). Any local suggestions?

Too many things to carry to just use an inverter to the standard power supply?

Actually, the dell power brick will probably handle the different powers just fine. Most will handle 50-60hz and 110-240V. All you need is a way to plug it in. If you want to borrow my adapter set, you are welcome to Kurt. Nothing for the cig adapter, but it should have all the plugs needed for the wall outlets.

That is my next option. Come to think of it, I purchased a new cig lighter inverter @ OSRC this year as my last one nuked. That may be the easiest overall solution given the different converters needed and my desire to pack super light.

Sweet, I may take you up on that. Let me see what I can do with the inverter... if that doesn't work out I'll take you up on that.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'm good. My little cigarette lighter inverter is going to do the trick and packed away neatly. Thanks again!
